Mordenite, associated with clinotpilolite-K, is a replacement product of vitric tuff and perlite, and a common phase in cavities and fractures in the tuff beds in the Guryongo area, Korea (Noh and Boles, 1989). The pyroclastic rocks are interbedded with lacustrine shale, siltstone, and coal beds.
